Students at Palolo Elementary are getting some help to show off their healthy side.

The school received a check for $12,500 dollars from Kaiser Permanente this morning.

The money will be used to kick start the "healthy hearts, healthy planets" program...where students will create gardens both in real life, and virtually.

The success of their virtual gardens will result in more funding for the school's sustainability programs.

The goal is to teach the kids how their activities affect the environment.
