The principal and librarian of a Pearl City school are hoping for good weather tonight.
That's because both are spending the night on their schools' roof, making good on a deal made with students.
Children at "Our Lady of Good Counsel" school were challenged to read 9500 books in three months.
They ended up reading more than ten thousand.
So at 9 o'clock this morning, Principal Mrs. Olaso and librarian Mrs. Valencia headed up to the roof.
"They're able to bring up snacks they are able to go use the restroom by climbing down and just going to use the restroom over the railing of the 2nd floor," says Ginger Kamisugi, Our Lady of Good Counsel.
Students were also rewarded with a fun day that included games and a giant slide.
