Students at Damien Memorial school went back in time today for a physics lesson.
The students from mrs schaab's honors physics class built catapults using wood and weights.
Then they put their contraptions to the test...letting their softball projectile fly.
Most of the kids have seen catapults in movies, used to attack castle walls in the middle ages.
This exercise gave them a chance to understand how they work...and what could help them improve the odds of hitting their target.
