Oahu has set a new revenue record, thanks to a jump in Waikiki hotel occupancy.

In October, hotel occupancy was up to 83.1%, up 3% from last year. Rates are also up.

An increase in arrivals from the East Coast and international visitors helped Oahu set an October revenue-per-room record of more than $132.
