After serving as a spokesperson for Hawaii, working with a variety of charities and traveling the globe as Miss Hawaii USA, Trini joined KHON2 News. In addition to reporting, she covers weather and keeps an eye on environmental issues with her Aloha Aina special. Trini graduated from the University of Hawaii at Manoa with a B.A. in journalism.
