Jai Cunningham is the co-anchor of KHON2's Wake Up 2day morning show.Jai joined the morning team in March 2008.
He started full-time at KHON2 in August 1992, beginning his career as a sports reporter, eventually working up to Sports Director.
In April 2003, Jai moved to the news department, anchoring the weekend shows and Hawaii at Five.
Some of the thrills of his career include interviewing such big name stars as Shaquille O'Neal, Magic Johnson, Dan Marino, and Kurt Warner. And he started as an intern at KHON2 in 1990, getting to write stories that were voiced by the legendary Les "The General" Keiter.
In his spare time Jai has a passion for running marathons. He also enjoys spending time with his wife Carla and their two daughters Cara and Chay.
Jai graduated from the University of Hawaii with a B.A. in Journalism and a minor in American Studies.
