Brianne Randle joined the KHON2 News Team in the Spring of 2006.
Brianne was born and raised on the North Shore of Oahu and attended Kahuku High School. She graduated with a degree in Broadcast Journalism from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, California.
She got her first taste of the news business, anchoring and reporting local news for Cal Poly’s television station CPTV.
During college, Brianne worked as a weekend producer and fill-in weather anchor for KCOY-CBS 12 in Santa Maria, California.
While at KHON2 News, Brianne has covered various stories across the state. Her most memorable include searching for snakes that were spotted on Kauai, shooting Sporting Clays on Lanai and reporting on the the monster waves at Waimea Bay. She also had the pleasure of working as a correspondent for "LIVE with Regis & Kelly".
In 2009, Brianne was honored as a finalist for the Society of Professional Journalists Hawaii Chapter 'Excellence in Journalism Awards' for Spot News Reporting with her coverage on a home that was washed-away after heavy rains.
In 2011, Brianne was nominated Secretary of the SPJ Hawaii Board.
Brianne volunteers at her local Foodbank. In her free time she enjoys traveling to unique destinations including South Korea, Indonesia, Australia and Japan. But, nothing compares to Hawaii, where she loves spending time with friends and family at the beach.
