Homeowners looking to improve the attraction of their property may want to consider a backyard spa - especially if they have plans to use it rather than spend money on a monthly health club membership.
"Focusing more on having features at the house as opposed to going out and paying for these features. And what a Jacuzzi brand spa - it can offer you stress relief, it can offer relief from achy muscles and joint connections," said Darren Higuchi.
Higuchi points to Jacuzzi's long time reputation when he talks about a spa's advantages.
"Jacuzzi has been around in the industry for over 50 years manufacturing. They've always been the innovator in design and new styles coming out for the industry. Currently we offer over 17 different features and style color arrangements," said Higuchi.
That fifty years in the business has been good for Jacuzzi. The company has more than 250 patents. Homeowners might be hesitant about embarking on what seems to be a major project.
"Twenty plus years ago it was a little bit more intricate for installation. Nowadays, spas come literally ready to run right out of the crate. Just have to worry about running an electric line to the unit and get your garden hose to fill it up and your spa is ready for use," said Higuchi.
Once the spa is up and running, Higuchi says it only costs a dollar to a dollar fifty a day to operate - less than a cappuccino.
"In Hawaii, because of the nice temperature we live in, heaters rarely turn on to maintain the temperature and the main utility draw comes into play when you turn the jets on and actually use the spa so - it's, every house is different," said Higuchi.
